Sony RM-AX4000 Home Theater Remote Control	I was looking for an all-in-one remote. One that I could program most of the functions of each of my remotes onto this one. Well it doesn't quite do it. Also, it doesn't seem to have the remote code for my Mitsubishi 80" Diamond Vision HD Rear Projection TV. I do like the ability to program the device on my PC, save the programing on a file on my PC, then program the remote by plugging in a USB cable into my PC to download the program into the remote. You have to use the button image that they provide on the LCD and you can't create unique button images that match the button on the remote that I am trying to replace. It does have a one button feature to turn on all components and set all components (TV, Cable Box, DVD Player, Home Theater Sound System, etc.) which my wife loves, but it is not easy to program. Trying to program it to change my TV input from Cable Box to DVD player is challenging as you don't really know where the starting input will be. They should have designed it to return the TV input to a default starting location. Why didn't they think of this. If they had taken one home and used it themselves, they would have fixed all of it's short comings. All in all, Sony could have done alot better in designing this unit, but then again, I can't seem to find a remote that works better.	Usually ships in 24 hours
Sony WM-FX290 Stereo Cassette Player with FM/AM/TV/Weather Tuning	This is a very good cassette player - and, these days, the local stores do not cary many, or no, cassette players - so I am comparing it to my old trusty Sony Walkman that died ... The sound is great with and without the Megabass feature. At first I didn't like the caring case but I got used to it and have no problems with it. On the downside the player doesn't have continuous play, or reverse, feature so, if you'd like to hear music on the reverse side, you have to stop, open the carying case, take the player out and reverse the cassette ... a pain. The window that displays control features is very very small so it is difficult to see the commands. The controls themselves are not very intuitive and I needed directions to set up, or change, the pre-sets but when that was done the player was fun to have and use.	Usually ships in 24 hours
Sony KDFE42A10 42" LCD Rear Projection Television	My new TV finally arrived and I am very pleased with it. I picked this one based primarily on all of the reviews I could find online, the vast majority of which were very positive (cNet has lots of reviews as well). Also, I have two friends who are cable guys and they see all kinds of TVs, all day every day, and both of them bought this exact set for themselves. My cable provider does not offer many High Def stations yet so the image quality of Standard Def video was the primary criterion for me. Most reviews were very positive in this regard but there were some that were the exact opposite. My first impression had me rather worried. I have since come to believe that poor quality Standard Def video is just a matter of garbage in = garbage out. I began to suspect this when I noticed that some stations looked much better than others. In fact, some shows and commercials on any given station looked much better than those which preceded or followed them. I became convinced as I watched a cable news show where the host and two contributors were each on different cameras being displayed at the same time. The video of the host looked OK, the video of one contributor was poor, and the video of the other contributor looked great. The video quality of the various individuals remained consistent when they were occasionally displayed individually on the entire screen. The set certainly has the ability of displaying fantastic Standard Def video. I expect that I just never noticed the variability of video quality on lesser TVs. The quality of the Hi Def Video is breath taking. Set-up was simple and I have not even bothered yet to read the manual. Of course the display can be adjusted in many ways, but it looks good to me with the factory presets and I do not intend to adjust the display anytime soon. Flipping through the on screen menu, I stumbled across the altitude setting which was a nice surprise since I live at 10,000 ft. above sea level. I was a little disappointed with the delivery situation. I thought I had ordered the TV in time to have it by opening day kick-off. Instead it arrived just in time for the third weekend of the football season, and I was told that it could easily have been another week beyond that. I blame the shipper (Eagle USA) for this, not Amazon. I say this because I could track the package enough to know that Amazon had the TV picked up right away. But then Eagle USA kept it sitting in Dallas for almost 2 weeks, and then in Denver for another week, before finally calling me to arrange for delivery. I believe that if I had not called and emailed Amazon to complain about the delay, it would have taken longer. Eagle USA told Amazon that they had tried to call me sooner but I know that this is not true for two reasons: 1) I had called Eagle USA the same day they told Amazon this and Eagle USA told me that they had no intention of calling me until a day or so prior to delivery, and 2) my livelihood depends on people being able to reach me at all times and I have a very good message and caller ID tracking system in place. <br /> <br />All in all, a great set at a great price, I just wish I had ordered and started pushing the issue sooner. Sony DNF430 MP3/ATRAC CD Walkman Portable Compact Disc Player with AM/FM/TV/Weather Digital Tuner	Bought this from Amazon and I am very, very pleased! Why? (First, I have owned and still do the 420 model Atrac). I bought this model because of the ONE AA battery, remote, TV, AM FM, Weather and resume. Here are the wonderful reasons I love this: 1) Only uses ONE AA battery! And it will last a long time! 2) Receives, TV, AM, FM, Weather, and CD, MP3 3) Resume feature--I listen to a lot of CD Audio books and MP3 Audio books and love the fact that I can turn the player off and a few hours or days later, just turn it on and pick up just where I left off! 4) Does not skip! I walk around a lot with this in my purse or in a waist pack and it does not skip! Great earphones! 5) Remote is easy to use! 6) Love the easy to use ON button in the center. 7) This is one of the few CD players that the AM works, I love my TALK NET RADIO! 7) The sound quality is so much better than the other MP3/CD cheap models that I had before. (I hear bass and treble sounds on my CD's and MP3's that I did not hear on the cheap models). 8) I also own the DNF420 MP3/ATRAC CD Walkman Portable Compact Disc Player with AM/FM/TV/Weather Digital Tuner, which is the older model and love it as well. (This model does not have a a remote). And since I have loved and still do, my DNF420 Sony Atrac, I knew I would love this model. In fact, I give it a 5 because I love it even more than my Sony Blue Atrac Psyc with AM, FM, Weather, TV. Note that to listen to weather if you are far from a weather station as I am, go outside or near a window and then you can hear it. All in all, I am just thrilled so far with this model. I highly recommend this to anyone who is active, travels or listens to alot of Audio books. To me, this is the very BEST of ALL the CD/MP3 made. I wish I would have bought this first. (Before I wasted my money on 8 cheapie MP3/CD players that did not have resume and had a not that good sound).	Usually ships in 24 hours
