Greenblat & Hutton (G&H) was established in 1986 by Motty Greenblat and Bill Hutton.
When Anglo Platinum made a decision to scale down its project division in 1999, G&H was approached to take over a large portion of their staff and continue with the project management and design services. Subsequently the Polokwane Smelter project was awarded by Anglo Platinum and executed by G&H between 2000 and 2003.
During 2004, G&H was appointed by Xstrata/Merafe as the Engineering and Design Consultants for their Lion Ferrochrome Smelter Project located at Steelpoort in the Mpumalanga province. G&H has grown steadily since inception and now employs approximately 110 personnel (excluding construction and office management services) at our offices in Johannesburg. Indicative staffing levels of the main project disciplines are as follows:
